I'm a product, UX, and technology leader with a background spanning executive leadership, digital transformation, front-end engineering, and AI-enabled systems. I work at the seam between strategy and execution, helping teams build products that are clear, trusted, and operationally strong. Over the last two decades I've led teams, rebuilt platforms, shaped digital products, and stayed close to the craft, from interface design and front-end systems to the operating models behind strong delivery.
My background spans founder-led work, CTO and Head of Technology roles, digital product leadership, UX, front-end engineering, and organisational transformation. I've worked across startups, consulting, and enterprise environments, usually in roles where strategy and execution need to stay tightly connected.
Right now, the clearest expression of that work is as Co-founder / CTO of Smartnote and Founder of SmartScrub. Those sit inside a broader thread that has run through most of my career, building products that need to feel clear, useful, and credible, especially where complexity, trust, and real-world constraints matter.
I care about building products that feel calm, useful, and operationally strong. That usually means reducing complexity rather than adding it, keeping strategy close to implementation, and designing systems that people can actually trust. SmartScrub and Smartnote are important parts of that story, but they are not the whole story. The bigger theme is product judgment, technical depth, and making ambitious ideas work in practice.
I've spent most of my career in the overlap between product, UX, and technology, where good ideas either survive implementation or fall apart. I like working in that seam. It's where a lot of the real leverage lives, and where clarity, interface quality, and technical decisions start to reinforce each other.
Working principles
